Mark J. Burchell, SGMS

With more than four decades of experience in the global relocation industry, Mark leads strategic growth for Arpin International. In his current role, Mark oversees Arpin's growth strategies, focusing on innovative products and services that match the needs of today’s policies and transferee choice. Mark is a dynamic, seasoned professional who specializes in building integrated, global teams to increase profitable market share. He is experienced in leading teams across multiple cultures, encouraging innovation to deliver exceptional, sustainable, long term customer experiences and relationships around the world. Mark relocated to the US for the first time in the early 90’s and then returned to his native London in 2007. Prior to joining Arpin, Mark spent a total of 17 years with Suddath and 10 years with Santa Fe Relocation Services in London, with global responsibility for sales and marketing. In addition to serving on the board of the WERC, Mark also is a member of the FIDI Quality Supervisory Board (one of the relocation industries leading trade associations).

Dick Burke

Dick Burke is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Envoy Global, a leading global corporate immigration services provider. Prior to joining Envoy in 2015, Burke served as President of Apartments.com, where he led the business to record numbers in customers, traffic and revenues culminating in its sale to CoStar Group in 2014 for $585M. Previously, Burke served as Senior Vice President of Administration and Corporate Development for Classified Ventures LLC. In this capacity, he oversaw Homegain.com, the company’s online real estate business. In addition, he led the company’s corporate services division, comprised of corporate technology, finance, legal, human resources, communications, facilities and corporate development. Earlier in his career, he practiced law at Burke, Warren, MacKay & Serritella P.C. and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP. Burke earned a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He also holds a B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross. Burke was a national finalist for EY’s 2022 Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Deb Convery, GMS-T, SPHR

Deb Convery, GMS-T, SPHR has over 15 years of experience in Human Resources and is currently the Head of Talent Mobility at Stripe which encompasses Global Mobility, Tax, Immigration, Internal Mobility and management of Stripe’s Remote work program with a focus on aligning Talent Mobility solutions with Stripe's business objectives and talent strategy. Deb has held prior roles as a Mobility leader at Peloton, Nike, Amazon and T-Mobile. In addition to Global Mobility, Deb has an extensive background in Talent Acquisition. Deb graduated from George Fox University with a degree in Management and Organizational Leadership and is a certified Sr. Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) and a Global Mobility Specialist, Talent Management (GMS-T). Deb is actively involved in the Mobility community. She currently serves as a Board Member for WERC and an Advisory Member for the Sustainability Advisory Council. Additionally, Deb is an advisory Board Member for Global Mobility Executive and Benivo Changemakers and served on Portland Relocation Council Board of Directors. Deb was recognized by Benivo in 2021 and 2020 as one of the most admired Global Mobility Professional’s in the world, as one of the Global Mobility Top 100 Innovators in 2022, and as a Global Mobility Top 100 Diversity Champion in 2023.

Ron Dunlap

Appointed as the Chief Executive Officer in July 2024, Ron Dunlap is at the helm of Graebel Companies, Inc., steering the company towards its mission and vision with a keen focus on relevance in the global communities the company serves. Under his leadership, Graebel is embracing a transformative era, marked by a strategic vision that aligns with the company's 75th anniversary. With a rich history at Graebel, including roles as President and Chief Operating Officer, Ron has been a cornerstone in the company’s growth and international expansion. His strategic initiatives have significantly enhanced organizational culture, performance, growth, and profitability. Notably, Ron has championed the development of industry-leading technology, enriching partner relations and opening new revenue channels. Ron’s leadership philosophy is deeply rooted in creating a duty of care culture, prioritizing values of truth, love and integrity. This approach extends to enhancing client and mobile employee experiences, ensuring that Graebel not only meets but anticipates and exceeds client needs. Prior to his tenure at Graebel, Ron brought nine years of diverse experience in global mobility, mastering roles across IT, operations, and client management after a career in the U.S. Air Force. He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Wichita State University and a master’s and doctorate in experimental psychology and statistics from Texas Tech University. As Graebel looks towards the world ahead, Ron's visionary leadership is set to propel the company to new heights of innovation and market leadership, continuing the legacy of excellence that has been a hallmark of Graebel’s journey.

LaMonica Hummel, CRP, GMS-T, SGDS

LaMonica Hummel, CRP, GMS-T, SGDS, Managing Broker is the Vice President, Relocation Director/Director of Business Development for Windermere Relocation, overseeing operations across Western Washington, California, Utah, Oregon, Colorado, and Nevada. With over two decades of experience in the mobility industry, LaMonica has held roles at Windermere, Prudential, Cartus, and Mayflower. She is a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP), Global Mobility Specialist - Talent (GMS-T), and holds a Global Destination Specialist (SGDS) designation, along with a Managing Broker’s License for the State of Washington.

Before entering the relocation industry, LaMonica served as Vice President of Human Resources for OUM Insurance Company. She currently serves on the WERC Board of Directors (2024-2026), the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LRE) Relocation Advisory Board (2023-2025), and the Portland Relocation Council (PRC) Board as Co-Education Chair (2024-2025). LaMonica is also an active member of the Relocation Directors Council (RDC®), Puget Sound Relocation Council (PSRC), where she served as President (2019-2020), and various other regional and national mobility organizations including SCRC, BAMM, RMRC, SHRM, and LWHRA.

Dr. Elizabeth Kumbhari, J.D.

Elizabeth is the Owner of Go Global Immigration, PLLC, a US corporate immigration law firm that is affiliated with Newland Chase/ CIBT. Before this role, she was the Vice President of Client Management for Americas Immigration at Newland Chase. She has held various roles at Amazon, most recently as Business Advisory, Canada and Latin America Lead. Before working at Amazon, she was General Counsel and Vice President of Professional Exchange Programs at Cultural Vistas where she led one of the largest J-1 visa programs, and was Director of international offices at both Long Island University and Northern Kentucky University.

Elizabeth holds a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and Learning (EdD) from Vanderbilt University, her research focused on identifying characteristics of successful overseas assignments (expats) at Global Fortune 500s. She also holds a J.D. from Northern Kentucky University and is licensed in Ohio and Washington, D.C.

In her free time, she is very active with national and international nonprofits. She serves on the WERC’s Board of Directors, is the Secretary of the Board of Directors at Global Ties, US, is a Corporate Advisory Member for AI 2030, serves on AILA's Online Course Review Committee, and is a Member and Contributing Author on the Forbes Business Council.

Tanya Mariottini, GMS-T

Tanya Mariottini, GMS-T, is Director, Global Mobility at eBay. She has ~20 years of Global Talent Mobility experience working in diverse industries and matrixed organizations including 10+ years in leadership roles and international assignments in both Asia and Europe. She has been an active member of WERC since 2007, joining their Board of Directors in January 2023. Tanya is an advocate for Move For Hunger, a non-profit focused on food insecurity and sustainability, and has actively participated on their Corporate Action Network since its founding in 2018, joining their Board of Directors in 2022. Tanya holds a B.A. in Business Administration with a focus on Management from The College of Idaho.

Nino Nelissen

Nino Nelissen has worked for more than 30 years as an expatriate tax specialist. First in two big 4 firms in Amsterdam, Washington DC and Tokyo, after which he founded  Executive Mobility Group (EMG). In EMG he oversees a combined offering of services in the area of immigration, tax, HR, Business Expansion, and Destination Services. In addition to being involved in employee relocation, Nino is involved in the GRIN community, a community that serves the interests of children that are GRIN patients, as well as their parents.

David Pascoe

David Pascoe joined Cartus in 1999 and has held a number of key senior management positions. Based in the UK, a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and part of Cartus' executive leadership team, David is responsible for Cartus offices in EMEA, APAC, and South America. In addition to leading the teams supporting some of Cartus’ largest clients, David also leads several strategic initiatives, including our continuous improvement program. This ongoing analysis of our technology and service capabilities has been instrumental in developing our proprietary centralized mobility hub, MovePro360®, and integrated core/flex solution, Benefits Builder, among other technology innovations. David also serves as executive sponsor for Cartus’ sustainability initiative, with formal qualifications in leading sustainable business and membership on industry-wide sustainability boards—including the WERC Sustainability Council. His commitment in this area ensures Cartus continues to offer support and approach business with the future needs of our clients in mind.

Anupam Singhal

Anupam Singhal is a seasoned leader with a distinguished career as a growth investor, operator, and advisor. As recently appointed President & CEO of WERC (formerly known as Worldwide ERC), he brings a wealth of experience, strategic vision, and a proven track record of driving organizational excellence. With a strong commitment to advancing the interests of the talent mobility community, Anupam has played a pivotal role in shaping the direction and resurgence of WERC, having served on its board of directors from 2020 to 2023, including as Chairman and Interim CEO in 2023. He is recognized for his ability to navigate complex challenges, foster collaboration, and drive innovation in an ever-evolving business landscape. Anupam brings with him a unique perspective and understanding of the complexities and nuances of global talent mobility, having spent several years in leadership roles within the industry, as well as outside it before assuming the role of President & CEO of WERC. With a reputation for driving results, Anupam is committed to leading WERC toward new heights, embracing emerging trends, and ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of the dynamic global talent mobility landscape. His leadership is marked by a dedication to excellence, innovation, transformation, and the advancement of the talent mobility profession on a global scale. Prior to WERC, Anupam was part of the executive leadership team at Topia, responsible for building and managing Topia’s strategic partner ecosystem, driving strategic top-line growth initiatives, and executing targeted M&A and corporate strategy. He previously co-founded and led Monaeo, an industry-leading, cloud-based, globally distributed workforce compliance tech company that Topia acquired in 2020. Before founding Monaeo, Anupam was a Principal at Silver Lake Partners, the world’s largest tech-focused private equity investment firm. He also worked at General Atlantic as a growth private equity investor and in mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley. Anupam holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. degree from Carnegie Mellon and the London School of Economics. In his 20+ years investing in and helping build world-class global technology companies, he has been both an active business traveler and an expat having lived in, worked in, and traveled to more than 30 countries.

Linda Smith

Linda has been the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Sirva since April 2012. As CCO, she was responsible for driving thcompany's global growth strategyny. Most recently, she was named Sirva’s Chief Commercial & Strategy Officer expanding her responsibilities to align the company’s direction with changing market needs. Her commitment to understanding customers and the industry drives our ability to improve, change and grow our services and technology offerings. She has global leadership responsibility for market-facing teams including strategic services, business development, global marketing, and new product offerings.

She began her career at Xerox Corporation in Rochester NY, where she held marketing and sales roles of increasing responsibility, running businesses with a focus on Profit and Loss. Linda is accomplished in customer-driven approaches to business challenges that enable growth. She also had a distinguished career as Vice President of Global Services and Vice President of Field Sales Operations with Ricoh Corporation, headquartered out of Tokyo.

Linda holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s in Business Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Benny Tan, GMS-T

As Senior Vice President, APAC, Benny is responsible for leveraging Altair’s capabilities as they relate to global product development, business-to-business solutions, policy consulting and benchmarking. Benny joined Altair in 2012 as Vice President, APAC and was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2018. He has been in the relocation industry since 2007. Benny’s experience in the Asia Pacific region spans a wide range of responsibilities for international relocation, assignment management and human resources services. His unique combination of skills, knowledge and global perspective is vital to Altair’s expansion into Asia. A graduate of Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Benny graduated with honors and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic and Electrical Engineering. He also earned a diploma in Computer Engineering from Ngee Ann Polytechnic in Singapore. He continues his commitment to personal and professional education by holding WERC’s Global Mobility Specialist – Talent Management (GMS-T) Certification and the FIDI Academy Essentials in International Moving (EiM) Diploma.

Rajiv Thadani

Rajiv is a global engagement lead for various technology clients in KPMG’s Bay Area office. He joined KPMG in 2001 having previously worked with Arthur Andersen. He has more than 25 years of experience providing a vast array of international tax and human resources services. Prior to relocating to the United States, Rajiv has had worked in Belgium, United Kingdom, and India, and is familiar with the tax and HR challenges that accompany the international assignments.

Kelly West, SCRP, SGMS-T

Kelly West, SCRP, SGMS-T, is the founder and President of The MilesWest Group, a black owned consultancy specializing in the reimagining of business processes to create innovative solutions. As a single parent, Kelly found employment in the real estate and relocation industry at 21, kickstarting a career spanning three decades. From the receptionist at Marsh & Associates, to the Division Head at Xerox, Kelly enmeshed herself in the industry learning each piece of the business, to better create innovative and customized solutions for both internal and external clients. Kelly has served on industry boards, editorial and national conference planning committees, and has been recognized through President’s Clubs, Meritorious Service Awards, and most recently as one of the 2021 Most Influential Service Providers in the Mobility Industry. Kelly is proud to be a citizen of the world, having lived in Canada and Madrid in addition to the US and having traveled to every continent apart from Antarctica, for work and leisure. When she is not either at her Denver or Lansing offices, she enjoys time with her husband Bo and their cat, Clementine as well as their three adult children.

Erin Almand

Erin Almand brings over 20 years of experience to her role as Vice President of Moving and Relocation Services, where she is instrumental in driving innovation and enhancing customer satisfaction. With a passion for providing the highest level of service, Erin restructured internal communications and processes to better meet customer needs. In 2023, she became a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) through WERC to further expand her knowledge of employee mobility and related programs and policies. Her dedication to excellence was recognized in 2022 when she received the Supply & Demand Chain Executive’s Women in Supply Chain Award. Prior to joining Montway, Erin held executive positions at CarsArrive Network Inc. and Dependable Auto Shippers, honing her expertise in sales, operations and market trend analysis. She holds degrees in Marketing from Cornell University and Business Management from Howard Payne University. Erin is active in the industry, serving on the WERC Service Provider Advisory Council and co-chairs Move for Hunger’s Corporate Action Network. Outside of work, Erin is a dedicated animal lover and “ranch her.” She shares a ranch with her husband Brian, in the Dallas area, where they care for cattle, quarter horses, chickens and numerous other ranch animals. As a devoted Nonnie, Erin cherishes spending quality time with her grandchildren.

Gary Conerly, CRP, GMS

Gary Conerly is the Director of Client Advisement for HomeServices Relocation, a Berkshire Hathaway company. For 20 years Gary has consulted with HR leaders regarding best practices in domestic relocation and international assignment benefits. Gary lives in Jackson, Mississippi with his wife and daughter. Prior to joining the relocation industry, Gary lived on assignment in Lima, Peru for ten years and is fluent in Spanish.  Gary’s background provides him a deep understanding of multi-cultural requirements for companies in the Americas, Asia, and Europe. Gary is an industry expert in relocation cost containment and process improvement and is a frequent speaker for SHRM and employee relocation related associations. He is certified in Essentials in International Moving (EiM) by FIDI Academy and holds the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP®) and Global Mobility Specialist (GMS®) designations.

Pam Dunleavy, CRP

Pam joined Aires in 2013, bringing 32 years of experience in the relocation industry. In her current role, she oversees and manages the Sales, Marketing, and Consulting Services teams, while also driving the organization's growth, direction, and vision.

Before joining Aires, Pam held several key positions at competing relocation firms, including Sales Lead, Vice President of Client Services, Account Manager, and Consultant. Her industry expertise has earned her prestigious accolades, such as the Editorial Achievement and Meritorious Service awards from WERC.

Pam is honored to serve on the Board of Trustees for WERC’s Foundation for Workforce Mobility, where she contributes to global charitable initiatives. She holds the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation and is a recipient of the Senior Certified Relocation Professional (SCRP) Distinguished Service Award from WERC.

Stephen McGarry

Stephen McGarry is a Global Mobility and Human Resources Executive with extensive experience in managing domestic and international relocation and mobility functions, policy development, vendor management, international assignment compensation and benefits, as well as taxation, remote work and immigration compliance. An active member in the Mobility community,  he has served on the WERC Board of Directors, earned the Meritorious Service Award and 3 Distinguished Service Awards. He served as Chairman of the Editorial Advisory Committee, Procurement Task Force, US Advisory Committee and the Global Advisory Committee and has received the WERC President's Award. Steve is a recognized author for MOBILITY magazine, and a frequent speaker and presenter at Global and Regional Mobility events. He was asked to, and gladly served on, a United Nations subcommittee as a corporate representative on global business migration. In his spare time, Steve likes to play golf and volleyball, and spend time with his family. He holds degrees in Economics and History from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Evan Miller, CRP, GMS

Evan joined the RELO Direct® team in 2007 as a Client Service Specialist, bringing with him several years of experience in the relocation and real estate industries. Based on his performance and dedication to service excellence, Evan has been promoted several times during his tenure with RELO Direct®: first to Client Accountant, and then to Client Service Manager. In this role, Evan served as the Direct TouchSM contact for his clients’ relocating employees and was responsible for guiding them through the entire relocation process.

In 2014, Evan transitioned from operations to join RELO Direct’s business development group as Director, Sales, and was promoted again in 2022 to Vice President, Sales. In this position, Evan proactively consults with corporate entities and agencies of the U.S. government to assist them in meeting their employee mobility objectives.

Evan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, with a concentration in Marketing. He has also earned both the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) designations from WERC.

Evan is a very active and high-profile professional in the industry, having held several leadership positions on regional relocation group boards of directors, including Communications Director for the Greater Washington Employee Relocation Council (GWERC) and Chairman, President, Vice President, and Secretary for the Corporate Relocation Council of Chicago (CRC).

Corinne Mossman

Corinne Mossman, CRP, GDS is John L. Scott Real Estate’s Vice President of Business Development and Client Services, covering Washington, Oregon, Idaho and northern California. Corinne has served several terms on the Puget Sound Relocation Council (PSRC) board, currently as the President. She also serves on the board of trustees for the WERC Foundation for Workforce Mobility. Corinne is an active member of WERC, Relocation Directors Council (RDC), and Portland Relocation Council (PRC). She serves on the advisory council for iUrban Teen, a STEM+Arts education program that brings together underrepresented teens and young adults for career exploration and mentoring. After studying at Université Laval in Quebec, Corinne earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business from University of South Florida. In 2015, she personally relocated from Florida to Washington and loves all the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Timothy Nowak

Timothy began his mobility journey in April 2011 as a Consultant with Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide. In this role, Timothy coordinated all aspects of the relocation benefits administration, including the home buyout, budgeted moves, and international moves.

In October 2015, he accepted a position with TRC Global Mobility, INC, focusing on leading a team, new systems implementation, and account management. In May 2018, he was hand-selected for the role of Relocation Director at Perry & Co in Denver, working with organizations moving their employees to and from the Mile High City.

In Spring 2019, he attained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SCP) certification as prescribed by the Society of Human Resource Management. Timothy joined Coldwell Banker in June 2021 as the Relocation Director for Arizona, Colorado & Utah. In July 2024, Timothy began a role within Anywhere Real Estate as Director of Network Success for the Western Region.

He is a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) and Global Mobility Specialist (GMS-T). Timothy also holds an MBA in international business from Southeast Missouri State University, a BA in business administration along with a Spanish minor from Benedictine College, and a Colorado real estate license. Tim is a member of Rocky Mountain Relocation Council (RMRC) and will be the 2025 Chair Elect for the Foundation for Workforce Mobility.

During his free time, Timothy enjoys being outside in beautiful Colorado, exploring the Denver food scene, traveling, and yoga.

Felicia Osorio, CCHP, GMS-T

Felicea currently serves as Vice President, Strategic Partnerships & Customer Success at 3Sixty, where she is tasked with leading her organization’s global customer service center and driving the success of key client partnerships through strategic planning and operational excellence. Through her 12+ years at 3Sixty, Felicea has served as an active contributor both inside and outside of her organization. Along with earning her Global Mobility Specialist, Talent Management (GMS-T) certification from WERC in 2017, she also holds Certified Corporate Housing Professional (CCHP) credentials, and was recently named as '40 under 40' by 425 Magazine. Felicea has served on the Puget Sound Relocation Council board since 2021 and has remained an active member of her own organization’s Environmental Social Governance (ESG) Committee since inception.

As a Washington native Felicea has a deep-rooted passion for the Pacific Northwest, and through that has supported local nonprofit’s such as Tree House and The Noah Center for several years. When she is not focused professional or community driven initiatives, Felicea can be found hiking the North Cascades or kayaking the San Juan’s with her family.

Carolyn Palafox, CRP, GMS-T

Carolyn has worked at Rocket Mortgage for 18+ years. She spent 10 years in various banking roles and brought that expertise to her current role on the Business Development Team.  Carolyn currently leads the business development efforts for the West Coast, Northwest and Southwest regions. Prior to her career at Rocket Mortgage, she worked in Retail and Banking Management including companies such as The Walt Disney Company, Sephora, Citizen’s Bank and Marshall Fields.

Carolyn is a graduate of Michigan State University where she earned her BA in Criminal Justice and BS in Psychology. She has completed additional relocation training/certifications and designations of the WERC, including Certified Relocation Professional® (CRP®) and Global Mobility Specialist® (GMS-T®).

Carolyn lives in Michigan and surrounds herself with 5 wonderful children, 5 grandchildren and five grand puppies. When she isn’t working, you will find Carolyn outdoors, hiking, sailing or conjuring up some grand adventure.

Eileen Rau

Eileen Rau has over 20 years of experience in household goods moving. For the past 15 years, she has worked with Budd Van Lines, focusing on business development for corporate clients. 

Her dedication to the industry is highlighted by her role in co-founding the Austin Relocation Council in 2009, where she served on the board until 2023. Eileen has also made contributions to the San Antonio Regional Relocation Council and North Texas Relocation Professionals, organizing numerous events and leading philanthropy and scholarship initiatives.

Eileen's passion for the moving industry shines through in her appreciation for the complexity of the relocation process driving her ongoing commitment to improving and leading in the field. 

In her free time, Eileen loves to travel with her husband and explore new countries, and attend concerts in her hometown of Austin.

Sylvia Salazar, Sr.

Sylvia Salazar, Sr., Manager Global Mobility and Immigration at Boston Scientific, has over 20 years of experience in the international HR and global mobility industry. Sylvia has a reputation of rebuilding in class mobility programs and transforming the mobility function by introducing new service delivery models to drive savings, build trust with stakeholders, and increase the employee experience. Outside of work, her passion is to travel around the world with her husband supporting the Colombian National Soccer Team.

Stefanie Schreck, SCRP, SGMS

Stefanie is a global mobility professional who has held a variety of roles over the past 20+ years.   She is currently Corporate Counsel for Communications Test Design, Inc., where she manages the company-sponsored immigration visa cases and counsels internal clients on employment law and compliance matters.

Stefanie is a member of WERC, where she currently volunteers on the Immigration Policy Forum and the Corporate Advisory Task Force. She is also president of Philadelphia Area Relocation Council (PARC) and a member of the New Jersey Relocation Council (NJRC). She previously served on WERC’s CRP Certification Review Board and the Global Advisory Council.

A 2018 graduate of Temple University Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, PA, Stefanie is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar. Stefanie received her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Drexel University in 1999.
