U.S. Residential Home Transaction Cost Estimator

WERC’s U.S. Residential Home Transaction Cost Estimator is a tool developed by industry practitioners as an educational resource to help talent mobility professionals understand the potential cost impacts of evolving U.S. buyer broker commission practices on home sale and home purchase practices.

The estimator is only for educational and information purposes only. Users of this tool should not rely upon or construe the information or resource materials contained in this tool as legal or other professional advice and should not act or fail to act based on the information in these materials without seeking the services of a legal, tax, and/or other professional. Talent mobility practitioners should consult with their internal subject matter experts and partner organizations (including, but not limited to, RMCs, broker partners, and/or mortgage partners) to determine specific ramifications for programs as they can vary program by program.

This tool was designed and developed for industry use by the RMC subcommittee of WERC’s buyer broker ad hoc group, who provided their insight, expertise, and resources to make this tool a reality. This initiative was led by Paige Holden from XONEX Relocation, Liz Boschert from Aires, Kathryn Couture from Altair Global, and Jay Hershman from Baillie & Hershman. Special thanks to Paige Holden and XONEX Relocation for building out the tool on its Power BI platform.
