The Philadelphia Area Relocation Council (PARC) has had a busy spring. On 11 April, we held our Spring Summit, featuring two sessions on artificial intelligence led by Deloitte. In these sessions, Deloitte presented on the topic of generative artificial intelligence’s implications for the global mobility industry and held an interactive session with attendees. In addition to AI, we held a panel discussion moderated by John McGowan of LCM Relo Solutions on the outcome of the National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlement on the global mobility industry. While there was robust discussion about the topic and the potential ramifications, most agreed that it is a “wait-and-see” situation. Stay closely tuned to PARC and WERC’s communications for updates on the NAR settlement repercussions.
PARC also held a member appreciation event in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, on 13 June. Hosted by AVE by Korman Communities, the event included an in-depth industry update from WERC President and CEO Anupam Singhal. After lunch, we held the PARC Olympics where members broke up into teams named for different countries and participated in games such as cornhole, Jenga, and Connect 4. The day concluded with an Olympic award ceremony where Team USA won the day and took home the gold (chocolate) medals!
PARC continues to grow and prides itself in bringing valuable content and topics to global mobility industry professionals. For more information on our organization, including how to become a member and get involved, visit www.PARCrelo.com or email info@parcrelo.com.
