Mentorship Program

Our project-based mentorship program is designed to empower the next generation of global talent mobility leaders. Dynamic teams of mentors, mentees, and advisors collaborate to tackle an industry theme. By blending hands-on education with competitive collaboration, participants forge career-defining relationships, sharpen their leadership edge, and work together to solve the industry’s biggest challenges. Through a curated mix of education, mentorship, and competitive collaboration, participants gain hands-on experience, build critical industry relationships, and enhance their leadership skills. By engaging both emerging and established professionals, WERC ensures the continued growth and evolution of talent mobility, equipping future leaders with the tools and insights they need to succeed in an ever-changing landscape. The 2026 theme is Redefining Global Talent Mobility Through High-Impact Partnerships.

Teams are introduced and receive instructions.

Program Launch

16 March

Official program kickoff. Teams meet and begin collaborating on their project, guided by the annual theme. A series of three workshops begins.

Teams Present & Finalists Selected

15 September - 5 October

Judging of team presentations begins, and finalists are selected to present at WERC Global.

Finalists Present at WERC Conference and Winners Selected

27 October

Finalist teams present their solutions to industry leaders at the WERC Global and winners are selected.

Call for Speakers

We’re inviting speakers who can bring the theme, Redefining Global Talent Mobility Through High-Impact Partnerships, to life: leaders who have reduced friction for relocating employees, strengthened collaboration across stakeholders, and connected talent mobility to broader workforce strategy and career growth. We are looking for a keynote speaker, a speaker to lead a workshop on building and delivering effective presentations, as well as a team of industry experts to participate in our “Ask an Expert” workshop.
